UPDATING WINDOWS & MICROSOFT PRODUCTS Microsoft is always releasing little updates and patches for Windows. These updates can do anything from make software run smoother to solving a security leak and stopping a hacker from entering your system. To make sure you always have the latest updates for Windows, make sure you regularly visit: Microsoft Windows Update The same applies for Microsoft Office products. For the latest fixes in the Office software, visit: Microsoft Office Update There is also the option of using Automatic Updates. This can be managed by going to the Automatic Updates tab in the System Properties in the Control Panel. Automatic Updates only updates Windows. There is a program that can be downloaded from Microsoft called Microsoft Update. Once installed, Microsoft Update integrates itself with Automatic Updates and can automatically download any updates for Office and other Microsoft products.
