Turning off VET Antivirus is not something that we recommend,
but occasionally it is required when installing new software
that VET be disabled. Thankfully VET a easy way of controlling
VETs Resident Protection by disabling it's scanning for a certain
amount of time.
- Right-click on the blue VET Antivirus icon in the taskbar
at the bottom right of the screen, and click "Snooze
Resident Protection".
- This will bring up a window where you can set how many
minutes to snooze VET.
- Simply enter in the number of minutes you want VET to
stop scanning for while you install the program. As soon
as that time is up, VET will resume protecting your computer
from viruses!
